With us you can organize the perfect fishing holiday in Madagascar.
Fishing cruises can be organized on two boats up to 4/5 fishermen. You fish on the Blue Marlin, a 38-foot catamaran built in South Africa by the Supercat shipyards, equipped for every type of fishing and you sleep on the mothership that ensures excellent standards of comfort.
Alternatively, it is still possible to organize fishing trips on a daily basis, in agreement with numerous hotels and coastal structures in and around Nosy Be.
The Captain
I was born in Genova on March 22, 1963. I was baptized by my father in the river Erro, at the bottom of the garden of my country house at the age of 4 with a Tonkin bamboo cane, a meter of fishing line, and a cricket attached to the hook - first fish a chub. The virus had hit. My passion developed on the beach in front of the house in Albissola Mare and on the streams that run down the surrounding valleys. From that beach and those streams began a journey made of adventures and great passion that led me to fish the waters of the four oceans.
The first fishing guide experience will be in the Maldives in '87 - and there I realized that it was possible to make my passion my job. With difficulty and tenacity, little by little the work has grown more and more - knowing many people and sharing life and professional experiences. For almost 20 years I have been fishing for my clients mainly in the waters of Madagascar and the Maldives.
Always curious about new techniques and new trends - I rigged my boat, The Blue Marlin, to be able to perform any fishing technique to establish any type of predator.
THE BOAT
The Blue Marline is a Supercat of South African construction 2003 is a 12 m Sport Fisherman catamaran, perfectly maintained, equipped with a tuna tower, powered by two yamaha outboard motors and equipped with GPS, depth sounder, VHF radio, satellite telephone, toilet, Galley, safety equipment, livewell, tuna tubes, outriggers, downriggers.
For fishing, guests have complete equipment for trolling with Alutecnos rods and reels.
On board with John - two crew members are at guests' disposal to facilitate the fishing action.
